Selkirk Shelties started in 1972, though for 12 years we were inactive in the breed. Now located just south of Chattanooga, TN, in Northern Georgia, we are a small hobby kennel, without the kennel environment. At Selkirk, all our shelties are raised in the home and underfoot. We believe our shelties are companion animals first—show dogs second.

We have very few litters and each litter is thought out long before it takes place. Our puppies are always well socialized and adjusted to new things so when they are ready for new homes the transition has been very smooth and easy for both puppy and new owners.

All our puppies have vaccinations  and wormings appropriate for their age before leaving and come with a guarantee against hereditary problems.
